TROUBLESHOOTING
You can only work on one design at a time. Make sure there are no other files open in Photoshop
at the time you Create your design.
Adding Additional Images
Extra images on back cover can only be added once the initial design has been created.
Layers
The Background and Blur layers *must* remain as the bottom two layers in the layers palette. Do
not move, rename or delete these layers - doing so will cause the Extras/Add-ons
menu not to work. If you don't want either of these layers,
simply turn them off by clicking the "eye" icon beside each layer.
Saving Designs
DO NOT save your design until you are completely finished adding any Extras/Add-ons. If you still need
to add extra images to the back cover....???
Printing Designs
When printing, you may see a message stating "Some clipping may occur". This is totally
normal and you may click proceed and continue printing.
Changing Company Info
The PixelMixer adds the revised Company Info to your existing design on a layer named New Company
Information. You'll need to delete/turn off the old Company Info layer (see example) or you'll have two
versions of info at the same time.
Transferring your Unlock Code
The Unlock Code* is only good for ONE installation of the PixelMixer on ONE computer - you cannot run the
PixelMixer on two different computers simultaneously. If you need to "transfer" the program
from one computer to another, you can easily do so with the transfer license feature.
You'll need your original Unlock Code that was emailed to you when you first registered the product
before you can continue. You must also have the PixelMixer installed on both computers. Now you'll need to
display the License Window on both computers:
1.) Make sure the PixelMixer is running.
2.) Press the Scroll Lock key on your keyboard.
3.) Make a selection in each of the 3 columns in the PixelMixer (Product/Design/Style)
4.) Click Create. The License Window will appear.
5.) Repeat this procedure on the other computer.
1.) Enter your original Unlock Code that was sent to you into the Init code field on computer #1.
2.) Click next to Transfer license to select it.
3.) Enter the Site Code from the other
computer (computer #2) into the New Site Code field on computer #1.
4.) Click the Continue button
and the PixelMixer will display the Unlock Code that you'll need to enter into the other computer (#2).
Transfer this number over to the Init Code field on computer #2 and hit continue.
Your PixelMixer will be disabled on the 1st computer and functional on the 2nd computer.
